Would you guys be interested in a comparison as well as an oppositelock review of 2010 370z and an 2009 E92 M3? I had back to back seat time in both of them today and thought they would be a really cool comparison.

Was it much of a comparison? I would think the thumping v8 M3, which has become a bit of a cult classic, would be the clear favorite over the underwhelming 370z.
I’ve always liked the idea of the 370z, but it seams to have under-delivered. The 370z is little too heavy, a little too expensive, and a little too unrefined to come out on top.
Tell me I’m wrong, I really want to like the 370z.

I find them to be polar opposites at trying to reach a similar goal. The M3 is definitely the better car (as it should be for costing twice as much new) but there are a lot of small things about the 370z that are great.

I'm on the same page as WRXforScience. It seems like the M3 would be the clear winner, but I'm kind of interested in what ways (if any) the 370z has an edge.

Yeah I’d read it but I think they’re both great answers to two very different questions! And they are:
1. What’s the sexiest daily driveable sporty car on the used car market right now? (<—possibly some bias)
2. What’s the best used sports car overall for the money right now?
IMHO :)

I’d be interested, at some point maybe we could compare notes since I own a 350 now and have (aggresively) driven an E46 M3 and I find them both to be remarkably similar, I think the 350 was a lot more upmarket in terms of performance than the 370, I think Nissan lagged way back for the second gen.
